I love fics that explore how the traumatic events the characters are experiencing affects them, so feel free to run with the canon horror elements (walkers/zombies, domestic violence, struggling to survive) and how that impacts upon the characters either during the series or afterwards.

I'm not normally a fan of non-canon AU's, but for these two characters I'd be open to a story where instead of being in the Walking Dead universe they are in a different horror universe. For example:
- the Purge universe (maybe Daryl comes across Carol and Sophia trying to survive Ed on Purge night).
- The Mist (maybe Melissa McBride's character is actually Carol, and she finds Daryl in the fog who helps her get back to Sophia).
- Final Destination universe (maybe Carol or Daryl has a premonition about their group being overrun by walkers and everyone dying, and has to change that from happening).

'ship fic is definitely okay, and I also like happy endings (or, at the very least, endings where the characters don't end up dead, hating each other, or separated).

I love horror that stems from a lack of power or control, like when the characters are trying to survive in a dangerous situation or unfamiliar location that they can't easily escape from; or the characters being hunted, endangered, overpowered and/or overwhelmed by a superior person or force. In terms of ships I love love love Lang/Yuno (Lang only being soft for Yuno, Yuno who's loyal to Lang above anything else,, they would burn down the world for each other). I think some unrequited Eli/Yuno is great too. Have as many people be into Yuno as you want!

I love some good mental health issues and psychological horror and doubting reality. I love seeing characters suffer. I don't usually read or watch a lot of horror so honestly, surprise me! Some hurt/comfort is good, but so are things like unstoppable happenings like body transformation or decay or what have you. Maybe Yuno did something and caused a situation he can't take back, he can't make into a fun joke, and simply has to accept now. Or maybe it isn't Yuno's fault and it was something else. Maybe Eli wanted to play a prank on Yuno and it went horribly wrong. Maybe the Cleanbois made a fatal mistake while heisting. I also love mental hospitals as a setting so feel free to do with those what you will!

I do ship both versions of Trip and T'Pol. I don't need a shippy story, but if you want to, it's an option. I'm also open to mix and matching. One of the things I love about the mirrorverse episodes of ENT is that it's not about a prime universe character going there, it's just kind of, "here's what's happening in the mirror universe." What would happen if we saw the mirror characters in the prime universe or vice versa? I like all the main characters on the show, so featuring any of them is fine.

For body horror, I like fucked transformations, especially characters turning into something else, be it another species or an eldritch horror. I like nonconsensual body modifications (particularly amputations and genital changes).

I do like the idea of "weird things in space," which could include monsters, or cosmic entities, or things that alter the characters' perceptions of themselves or reality. Seeing into other dimensions. For Trip and T'Pol specifically, going too deeply into this psychic connections.

Fandom specific DNWs: Calling Trip "Charles" outside of introductions or official/formal situations, spelling out Trip's accent, pet names, stories involving the events of episodes Demons/Terra Prime (vague acknowledgement is fine, I don't want a story around those events for this exchange), or acknowledging the events of the finale.

I kept things pretty simple for Eddie and Venom. I feel like monster horror is already Eddie's life to an extent, so I'm all for including elements of that. But I'm also really interested in the body and psychological horror aspects of their connection and transformations.

Felvidek is a short (~4-6 hour) retro horror RPG that's on steam. There are playthroughs on youtube.

I adore everything about the horror in this game - the body horror, the transformation, the folk-horror-ishness of the way the townsfolk react to the cult and the disappearances, all the religious strife and horror, the violence, the intimations of torture, everything! I would love just more of any of it, or anything in the same world.

For Adam & Matej, I'd love to know more about mass in the meat keep, or anything about their interactions before, during, or after the game. Matej seems less fazed by all the monsters than Pavol - has he encountered anything like them before? Has Adam's miscreant-hunting led him to other crazy shit?

For Pavol & Matej, also any closer look into any of the game scenes would be fantastic - maybe an expansion of the scene where they find the sickhead cultist transforming into a monster underneath villa elektra? Or I'd love postcanon fic where they meet again, whether it's because Matej is sent out again or because Pavol finds himself in Debrecen for whatever reason.

I ship any combination of Adam, Matej, Jozef, and Pavol but ofc also happy with gen! Love the rest of the characters also, would love eg Matej and Pavol's reactions to Ida and Dezi's relationship continuing even after Dezi got transformed.

This 11-minute webseries was made to promo NBC's Dracula (2013) but I like it for itself alone! I'd love to know more about Iosif and Vlad - how did Iosif come to work there, did he work for any of the voivodes before Vlad, his reaction to any of the mundane violent horrors of Wallachia's princely court... or, of course, what happens after the end, with Iosif's ominous comments about what happens to Vlad. Ofc it's implied he becomes a vampire, but what's he like newly-turned? Does he have control of himself, or do things go bad? Did the Order intend to vamp him, or did something go wrong with the curse they meant to do?

I'm very happy to ship them - I was very 👀👀 when Iosif was like "She loved him... I loved him." (Also happy for threesome with Ilona!)

I am in LOVE with the alt hist of Mihaly being a vampire!! And I adore everything about the body horror of these vampires: the undeath, the blood drinking, the mind control, the healing-through-blood... all amounts of Matthias whump and torture are very welcome here. I really enjoy the idea of him knowing what's happening to him as it all goes down; maybe he regains a little control between vampire whammies, but never quite enough to escape (bad end) or does manage to escape and get his kingdom back (good end)?

I would like Archie & Fang & Frenchie & Izzy & Jim to not end up on bad terms with each other. They can die, it can be tragic and/or horrifying, but I just don't want them to hate/fear/turn on each other, at least not without making up before the end.

* The breakup boat actually goes down during the storm (or suffers incredible damages during it, leading to the rest of the surviving crew perishing soon afterwards of hunger/thirst/injuries). Now they're a ghost ship and a ghost crew. I'd like them to find some solace with each other, but that doesn't mean everything has to be okay. What is it like for them to slowly realize that they're actually gone? What do they "need" as ghosts, and what are their interactions like with other ships? If one person lingers on for a while after the others are gone, is it almost bittersweet to die and find they're reunited with everyone else? What happens if Stede and the others finally come across what's left of the Revenge, only to find this ghostly wreck full of spirits they may or may not perceive? (Is Ed also haunting the ship, or does he somehow get swept overboard and survive? Or wind up haunting a different space/moving on into the afterlife?)

* Frenchie is right about certain people having crystals in their body that attract demons. He's just wrong about it being women. He has some crystals in him, though, and that might explain the shadowy terrors that are following him around ….

* Sorry, Ed, but your early S2 phase of unpredictable dark whimsy, deliberately provocative mutilation, and attempted murder-suicide is very inspirational for fucked-up horror premises—I really like it when him being an antagonist during this period is less about him wanting to hurt someone and more about him just seeking sensation and/or numbness at any cost or about him just self-destructively over-committing to obviously horrible, dead-end choices. So I'm very here for the general psychological horror of this time, with everyone being exhausted and forced from violent scenario to violent scenario, all while dealing with someone powerful and unpredictable. Forced games of Russian roulette or William Tell-style shooting things off people's heads or out of their hands? Raiding Archie's snake cult ship and finding everything absolutely crawling with snakes, including venomous ones or giant anacondas? Ed ordering them to bring the snakes aboard because he's secretly hoping one of the snakes will bite him?

* Ed decides to use a séance or other ritual to see if Stede didn't make their rendezvous because he died. This has Very Bad supernatural effects that everyone has to deal with. Ghost Badmintons? Amorphous evil spirits? The ghosts of their former selves?

* Post-S2, Frenchie is the new captain of the Revenge (I will totally take Randomly Alive Izzy for this, if you'd like!), and he and the crew have a supernatural or monstrous terror to deal with. A sea monster? A ghost ship? An eldritch horror? Do they sail into the Bermuda Triangle and find reality itself getting slippery on them?

* During a particularly intense set of raids on the breakup boat, everyone is snorting a ton of rhino horn to stay awake, and this has disastrous psychological effects: troubling hallucinations (leading to panicky self-harm or harm of others?), trippiness in general, weird time distortion, etc. Just get everyone high in a way that's dark and weird and terrifying. Dubcon high sex is also totally welcome here too, as long as the characters involved want it and would be fine with it having happened.

I've stuck with requesting solo tags because I'd love to see how these characters would face down horror--and what that horror would show them about themselves or how it would terrify them in particular--but I'm definitely not opposed to ships.

I'm fine with any kind of ending.

* It really is the longest shift in the world, i.e., the patients just keep coming and everyone starts gradually realizing that they're forgetting what life outside The Pitt is even like. I love the grinding, disorienting feeling of a long shift in a kind of slippery, nightmarish setup where the characters sometimes maintain--even in their own heads--the pretense that this is all normal and it'll stop one day, but their ability to do that is fraying.

* I'd love to see them reacting to some kind of apocalypse. Zombies, maybe? They're dealing with the turned and the infected, and even though they try to compartmentalize, analyze it the best they can, and generally act in everyone's best interests, the world is steadily going to hell around them and they could soon be casualties themselves. (Hurt/comfort and bittersweet bonding in all this is very welcome, including between unlikely sets of characters.) It doesn't have to be zombies, either: any kind of apocalyptic scenario is fine, and you can make it as weird and/or dark as you like. There's a disease where people start slowly turning into plant life? The air is becoming more poisonous by the day? There's a memetic contagion that spreads by the repetition of a particular phrase, and it drives people to murder? How would they react if there's nothing they can do about any of it, and it's just that darkness is closing in and communication with the outside world is fading, and soon the wave will take them out too? I'd love to see them trying to carry on helping people and connecting with each other as a kind of defiant ray of light even as inescapable doom approaches.

* The Pitt has certain rituals that have to be maintained for the good of the hospital. The new interns, med students, and residents have to be inducted into the mysteries of making the occasional sacrifice--cutting away some part of their bodies? Some part of their lives? Deliberately letting the occasional patient die to satisfy something that lives at the bottom of a literal Pit?--or appeasing the shadows that stalk the halls on the unused floor. Does someone on staff have to be killed every year in a macabre ritual to keep the place running? Who can accept the idea that it's them, and who would want to resist ... but might have to agree to it all anyway?

* Any kind of medical casefic horror, whether the phenomenon is somewhat understood or whether the doctors have to fumble their way through it figuring it out as they go (and coming face-to-face with the limits of their own knowledge and abilities). I'm okay with effectively stealing the premises for the cases from other horror, too, so if you want to have them investigate a knockoff Carrie White or get involved with something similar to the plot of Malignant, I'm completely okay with that. Or a patient claims a ghost is hurting them, and slowly the doctors are starting to believe it too? Or weird science fictional/medical horror, with terrifying invented diseases?

* Anything with ghosts! Maybe the hospital is full of them and this is a known problem (but familiarity doesn't necessarily breed confidence or comfort--the ghosts, like violent patients, could still scare, hurt, or kill them) that they all have to find ways to deal with? Is it understood that you shouldn't go in certain rooms at certain times? Has anyone ever been partway through treating a patient before realizing the person they're talking to died hours ago/days ago/years ago? Do ghosts ever follow them around? Or, if the ghosts aren't a somewhat known quantity, how does the person seeing them react? Is it an eerie but potentially bittersweet encounter, like if Robby sees Dr. Adamson? Is it completely destabilizing, like if Santos runs into the ghost of her old abuser or her dead friend?

* For once, it's a slow day, and there's time for everyone to tell stories of uncanny cases or experiences they've had.
