Basira getting hurt before Melanie could save her, or running and finding another weapon in artefact storage. Melanie getting overwhelmed by enemies in a way that accelerates her slaughter rage, or getting some bones stolen and losing the bullet along with them. Jon never being comatose and still being at the office during the attack. Some torturous bone-turning is welcome, and characters being left alive with injuries. What if things got dire enough for some of them to lean on the entities for the power to save themselves and the others - Martin going more eye or web, Basira going more eye or dark? Jon trying to compel the monsters while his powers were still weak, maybe managing to get them talking enough to serve as a distraction?
What if Jon went out on a field trip with Martin and Tim while they were researching a statement in season 1 or 2, or enlisted their help with his travels to track down info in season 3? If they travelled to an interesting location, it could set up some folk horror, or oc monster horror? Or what if something else attacked them in London, at work or in their homes, and they had to run, hide, fight, and try to survive together?

- canon ships or archive polycules, either in the background, or as a focus (consensual, or 'something made them do it' horror)

SPN is filled with so much fucked up, horrific shit, and I'm such a fan of it all. Sam is my absolute fav an I am obsessed with all of his (dark, messed up) plotlines. The powers, the demon blood, the addiction, the Lucifer True Vessel thing, the Cage trauma & hallucinations, and then the terrible shit like Gadreel that happened to him in later years...Sam has had his mind, body, and even soul twisted against him so many times and tbh I think that's Neat XD Anything involving any of that shit would bring me such joy.
Also, Supernatural in general just lends itself super well to horror, so there's really so much to work with outside of Sam's specific storylines, if those aren't your jam! Go ham, live your best life.

Ben Reilly is my dear, darling blorbo, and thus I obviously want terrible things to happen to him—not that canon hasn't already taken care of that for me. Ben is a clone of Peter Parker, and was tortured to death 27 times by his creator (and that isn't even all the times he's died!). He has had various villains erase his memories and manipulate his mind to use him for their own purposes, and the Devil himself has tried to steal Ben's soul. I love this movie so fucking much! The entire universe is awesome but I didn't click with the original trilogy in the same way I clicked with this sequel film. It is just the coolest fucking thing. Like, getting an outsider POV on the Bourne trilogy was awesome, and then you throw in the wonderful lead character of Aaron Cross and you've absolutely got me hooked.
Spies! Double crosses! Enhanced people! Manipulation! This film has it all, and all my love is attached to Aaron. This man has been manipulated and used at every single turn (by his army recruiter, by the people in charge of Outcome, by Eric Byer, list goes on) because of his mental deficiency, and that's *chef's kiss* and so painful. Aaron-as-Kenny was desperate to belong, to be safe, and that was twisted and abused until he was a loyal killing machine. But the extra interesting thing to me is that Aaron still asked so many questions! He was constantly arguing—with other agents, with the doctors, with everyone. Only person he didn't argue with was Eric (but that scene we see between them really is very emotionally charged...).
Anyway, this fandom has so few fanworks, even fewer that are solely about this fandom instead of a crossover. I'm dying for content! I want my boy Aaron so badly, in whatever form I can get him.

The Magicians show has so many horror elements and plotlines that it really fits so nicely into this exchange, especially regarding the relationships I chose! Martin Chatwin literally was called "The Beast" he was that scary and threatening, and the man had zero issue murdering our heroes over and over and over again. His psychotic childishness and fixation of Quentin & Co was so delightfully creepy, and I definitely didn't get enough of Martin & Q interacting.
By far, my favorite plotline on The Magicians was the shit with the Monster. This was a creature that instantly became obsessed with Quentin, so possessive of him, all while literally possessing someone Q loves. Quentin was basically a hostage in all but name, and the poor dude had to spend months and months walking on a razor wire to keep the powerful monster happy no matter what it took, doing everything he could to save his friend. It was all so fucked up and absolutely awesome.

There is absolutely zero competition in my brain about what the best part of Teen Wolf was. That Void Stiles plotline was unreal fantastic and I will absolutely never get over it. I was rewatched the Nogitsune!Stiles scenes more times than I can count, and tbh after I finish writing this I think I'll head on over to Amazon Prime and watch them again 😆 Literally anything involving the storyline with Stiles being possessed by the Nogitsune will have me Thriving. Dylan O'Brien fucking KILLED IT, and made a lifelong fan out of me. Void!Stiles was creepy and scary and unsettling and pure chaos, and I just ahhhhhhh I want morrrreeeee.
