Treats may be posted to the collection without a recipient (as "gifts to the collection") as long as they fit a horror theme. Treats do not have to match fit tags from the tagset.

What are "fit tags" (or is it a typo)? If I get an idea for a ship that hasn't been nominated, can I write a fic for it and gift it to the collection even though there's not a matching relationship tag?
